While on the face of it the idea may be admittedly appealing, we would then be left to deal with the fallout (literally). The world would demand we rebuild those countries if we didn't do so anyway. We're already rebuilding two. I've come to the opinion that maybe we should let these other countries rot in their own messes. North Korea will implode if left alone anyway. All they have is that pompous dictator with the ugly wardrobe and bad hair (he's also fat). Would you believe he had a musical piece commissioned a few years ago, complete with coreography, called something like "We are thankful for our great leader" ?

George Bush and Condoleeza Rice told you to not like N. Korea and Iran, even though they haven't done anything to you or your family, and you do it? That's overkill and hypocritical. It would make the whole world terrified of us and that's NOT a good thing. The U.S. would become isolated because no one would want to deal with us. At the very least, it would collapse our economy.
