Be prepared to be very bored......Wear whatever you want, they won't care......You'll sit there for what seems like forever and they'll come in and say "Jury dismissed......A settlement has been reached." Have fun!!!!!!!!! ( sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings here, but Ive had JD a bunch of times and this is what has happened EVERY time) Take care, hun!!!!!!!

It depends on if you want to serve or not. If you really WANT to be on a jury, just dress conservatively. Dirty jeans, t-shirts, and tennis shoes probably aren't your best choice. Try watching an episode of Law & Order to see what a television jury wears.

Despite the lack of a strict dress code, you should know jury duty is serious work, and you should dress in a manner reflecting that responsibility: neatly and cleanly.

If you DON'T want to be on jury duty, dress as bizarrely as possible.

Wear the same thing you'd wear to grandma's for easter. No need to wear a tie.

Actually I think the last time I had jury duty I wore a t-shirt and cargo pants.

most likely you wont even have to go. In my city there is a number that you call the night before you are called and you find out if you have to go or not. If you do have to go a nice pair of Kakis with a button down dress shirt should be just fine.

Good luck

Business casual. It is refreshing to see someone who is actually willing to serve on a jury and not whine and complain about how to get out of serving. You will find it interesting and rewarding. Thank you.

Dress nicely. but comfortably. Don't go in jeans and tennis shoes. Be sure to take a jacket or sweater. It can get really cold in the court room.
