Nothing personal, it sounds like you are a loving parent. However, if your son broke the law he got what he deserved. If he wants to get out, he needs to keep his nose clean and stay out of trouble. He is very fortunate he did not try to make his fast money off of the wrong person or perhaps he would be under the ground instead of in prison. As smart as he thinks he is, he needs to understand that someone is always going to be smarter than he is. Not being violent does not excuse criminal behavior.
