I have changed my religion from Islamic To Christian. I change my religion because the islamic is too restricted and sucks.
For a man, You cannot touch female unless she's your wife or you have a generation relationship with her if you were islamic and so are female.
For woman, you must cover all your body except your eyes and palm of hand because it will make islamic man excited, or else you will get a sin and Allah will sent you to hell after die. And you must respect the man, never disagree with man said, must follow your parent's husband choice, and must follow your husband instructions or else you will get a really Big sin. When the marriage is begin, woman is not said anything. The unitary is just ask the man to say "I accept the marriage of (name of the bride) with (name of the bridegroom) with the exchange (Name of the exchanged thing(s) ). After then, the marriage is 100% valid. There is not a promise like the christian did.
So, because there isn't a promise, the husband free to have another wife without his wife agreement or even left her alone. In islamic, they think the woman is living in this world for breeding place, satisfying man, and take care of children.
For all Muslim, you must do some rituality (stand up, sit, bow, and say the arabian word) five times a day or else you will get a big sin!.
So, for who think the woman use a very closed clothes just for fashion or culture, you're wrong!.They do that because they fear they will get a big sin if they don't do that.
And one more thing, you cannot eat a pig. I don't know what the reasons. Just ask it to Muslim people.

So, after all Do you Think the islamic is a good Religion ?

I cannot really say what my religion is. The way I have expressed my faith in God has changed many times over the years. I have practiced Catholicism, and Buddhism. I have been a certified dunked in the water baptist. Today I follow the Red Road. Some People call it native American spirituality. It is where I am comfortable and feel God's presence.

good luck! N joy ur new faith!

I shifted from Islam to near about Atheistic position and yet i identify with the affairs of Muslims... feel there is some psychological need that religion does fulfill , probably useful for some people to lead meaningful lives.

If religion is making u a horrifying person it is better not to have one. Depends on if it suites your disposition.

One must however consider that relgion does largely divide humanity rather violently.

I was raised a Christian, I studied many different (sub) churches from Protestant, Southern Babtist and Mormon to name a few, I guess you could say I was searching for something that give me that Wow and had me wanting to study more.

When I turned 20 I just sorta give up searching, I was a Christian and I believed in God, but I didn't strive to learn more.
At about my 28th birthday, my world got rocked and I took it to heart, as I was trying to recover I was tuned into the Natural world and began studying Native religions, one thing lead to another and I have been Pagan, Wicca for almost 10 years.
I strive to learn more almost everyday, I have that zest for knowledge.

I'm a firm believer that religion is the path to spirituality and that is our ultimate goal, to be at oneness with all. Our religion teaches us Faith. That is what a religion should do. To prepare you to stand alone and then to stand all as one.

Yes, I was born into a Catholic home, but turned Agnostic in my teenage years. I found the "absolute truths" to be a little fishy, so I decided 'Who knows what's actually the truth?' I have found that Buddhism is probably the most flexible when it comes to admitting our ignorance regarding the universe. But I am enjoying not being tied to any certain religion. It seems like it allows for more spiritual growth.

I have never change my faith, However please don`t confuse Religion with God.

Religion is a man-made organized *set of rules* for a church congregation.. God does not care if you are a baptist, Catholic, Methodist, Mormon or Islam, Muslim or ?.. He doesn`t care if you wear make up or not. He doesn`t care if you wear shorts, He doesn`t care if have facial hair.. He loves you and cares about what you look like on the inside.. He knows your journey. Be patient he isn`t thru with us yet.

We all have a spiritual journey that we take. It is never wrong to learn and grow. I wish you the best in this part of your journey. Peace...

God bless & Hugs from Texas. {:-)

I have abandoned organized religion. Rich men created religion to keep their gold from others. Also, having money makes them want even more power over others.
I believe in GOD the creator and Jesus the Master of life.

I used to change religions all the time. Now I just add religions because most of the ones I know about have something I like and feel is true and they also have something that I don't like and feel is ridiculous.
