Nope. The easiest way to defeat N. Korea is to completely ignore them. They are like a toddler throwing a tantrum; they believe that antagonism is the only way to get attention, and then they attempt to extort the world into helping them.
Ignore them and they will shrivel up and collapse under their own corruption. Their people are starving, their economy is a shambles. What you are seeing are the last acts of a desperate regime that doesn't know how to build legitimate relationships with other countries.

If strike tomorrow, will it be first strike. Did not the North Koreans invade South Korea in 1951? Also, the North is trying to fire missiles in Japans direction for whose security we are responsible. So, it would not be a first strike. On the other hand, I am sure there are other ways to resolve this problem. In the end we should resolve the problem with out looking weak, so that might mean we need to strike back.

in my opinion i don't believe of we take it so heavily because we anticipate of it received't bypass everywhere. NK(North Korea) has taught all their human beings to hate united states of america of america. i imagine they deliver those threats to rally their human beings. instruct their those that their chief is solid. a million mile on both part of the DMZ is a hell hollow. If some thing replaced into to bypass down, an invasion on NK will be puzzling. also China is allied with NK. If we were to make conflict with NK we settle on to be particular that China wont bypass after us as well. So my personal 2 cents is we've not carried out some thing because there are thanks to many variable that bypass into it.

as to bush, he is above the law and does as he wants to. if we know that they are openly testing nukes, they must be stopped. whats the main concern is yes the nukes, but more of who are they aiming at. it would be crazy to fire at us as we have missles around the world that will launch as soon as a nuke is launched to knock it out. we have the nukes to destroy korea of the earth. what would they gain by knowing we can wipe them off the planet. any threat to our country is dealt with right away. if the intel shows its a threat to us we can attack anytime. congress has the only authority to approve a war, but in a emergency, the military can and will hit any threats that are real. korea has openly made threats as did iran to isreal.

No, we should not use first strike against N. Korea. Our troops are preoccupied with Iraq and we would not be able to handle two major fronts.

North korea mad the first "aggession" for lack of a better word but i wouldn't see any real problem with us going to korea to make sure nothing happens though. we would need to be careful to not turn it into a vietnam
