I want kids in the countryside to get the opportunity to learn how to read and write and explore the modern world like the rest of the kids in America. I hope to find other Khmer from different part of the world to either go back home volunteer or donate money and help people in their home town or their parents home town. With our small population I believe it very possible to get Cambodia back on track in a shorter time frame then other courtries with larger population.

Contact Brad Pitt's wife. She should be able to help you.

Great to see you have a caring heart. That is rare and hugely important. It is also very important to have / develop a mind that is well versed in the realtities of how the world does work ($), yet is still open and creative enough to seeing other ways that it can work.

If you see a need that is not being addressed, simply keep digging at the problem (ask everyone even remotely related to the issue everything you can) and if a new non-profit is needed, go ahead and do it (after your second round of questions)...SCORE.org is a group that helps small businesses start. anonproft is similar in many ways.

It may, however, be the best use of your time to work with organizations that may already be addressing this need. Your help can help them become more efficient with their assistance.

Good luck.

First you should be more specific on where your money will go. Will you personally deliver the materials and do the teaching, or will you donate to a larger organization? Next you should start some fundraising - bottle drives, selling stuff, collection jars. Also a more concrete set of goals will make people more willing to give.

I am very pleased that there are people like you in this world. My suggestion would be to start with a larger organization such as the Salvation Army and get your feet wet. Try to volunteer for UNICEF and other non profit organizations. I am pretty sure they can use more people in this world like you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~THANK YOU~~~~~~~~~~~~
I would start a commercial, website, and such to get the idea started. Good luck!
you have to explain something first...
do you live in Cambodia now, or do you live somewhere else?
