Oh please the records are there. Look!
And I do know many-who can not afford their basic living requirements-because the State Programs are running out of money. It happens when there are too many using it--and the flood of people didn't help.

The media is one source, governmental records are another. Each is appropriate in its place and you then judge the media source based on your knowledge of that source.
And no, I don't think it would have gotten resolved a long time ago because corporations who employ them want them to keep coming. On the other hand it took a really vast number being here before ordinary people looked around their overcrowded, underfunded schools and said 'no more!'
It is an incremental problem. The bigger the number, the bigger the problem.

The media is only focusing on the issue given by the government. Keeps us from following bigger issues like the occupation of other peoples country.

PLEASE. The media is so pro illegal, I get sick. They spin illegal immigrants into "migrant workers" overnight. When they cross the border, here come the pro illegal media saying things like "migrants workers" stopped by the border patrol. Why can't they be more honest in their reporting. The illegal aliens may be cheap labor, but, because of them, they leave American laborers with starving children, who have no border to cross to find work.... Think about that.

I don't know about most Americans but I do know that I get my information from LOU DOBBS, who I believe to be very reliable and honest.
Actually, I would trust him before I would trust a MS-13 gang member or the common illegal Mexican on the street, which is where you probably get your enlightened information.

Media is a broad term. If I can't read internet articles, watch television shows, read printed material and look at art to form my opinions, then what am I supposed to do fly around the country to talk to individuals as an original source?

Media involves all types of sources.
Your probably trying to refer to specific aspects......
You also probably wouldn't state outrage if all media represented your world views.
The media has wide role, besides your claims,
most people are uninformed and although a value your statement about reaserching....
the reality is they won't
that said............
the illegal issue there are many many view points...its irresponsible to believe there is one true point of view.......

screw the media, I just choose not to get the info at all. Most of the info anyone has access to is crap and lies and half truths anyways, so I just don't worry about it. Until it directly affects me, I don't care. The day they throw ME on a battlefield, thats the day I will start caring.

Because its easy. And if they know a credible source, they can get very good information. An example of a unreliable source would be FOX news. read the paper or look at it on the internet.
