I'm a new mother, and I have a 3 month old baby and everytime my husband and I try to become intimate she screams her head off. My husband said he heard that babies can sense when their parents are having sex and I just wanted to know if it's true or not?

My doctor has this saying hanging on a poster in his office:

" Toddlers are mother nature's way of population control "

I guess babys are too :)

Yes they can sense it. There are numerous articles about it and I know for a fact its true. My son would start crying even though he was sound asleep and wasnt wet and had been fed not long before going to sleep. Didnt matter what time of day or where he was he would cry like crazy if his father and I were intimate including but not limited to kissing. Even when he slept through the night at an older age (in months) he would still cry if we tried to do anything.

i don't know if that is true. Is your baby in the room with you? When my baby was 5 months old we thought she was sleeping in the crib next to the bed, but when things started to get hot, she woke up and started copying the noises we were making.

my daughter did the same thing. its like they have a radar. lol. they also have it when you are trying to eat dinner. try going in another room when you get intimate, maybe her radar wont work that far. lol.
