The Green Beret have the reputation for the best. I had 2 Uncles in the Green Beret, so I am partial to them.

Compare two different things , thats like asking which is better the Yankees, or the Jets. Recon does a different job than Green Berets do. Green berets traditionally are to train foreign armies and all that, where as recon is just that primarily. When it comes to fire fights I would say since they train the same and go to the same schools probably about even

Considering I'm married to a Green Beret, I guess I'm a little partial to them. But like some of the others have said, they do different jobs. It's like comparing apples and oranges.

both are good in what they are trained to do .... Each special forces are trained to handle specailized mission .... You would never send the Navy SEALs in to secure an airfield and you would not send the rangers in to do a pin point assasination.
