When you drink in the morning are you getting home from a night shift job, or as soon as you get out of bed, not good. Why only three days a week. I work the late shift and when I get home I like to have a beer. It relaxes me so I can sleep. Who is with you when you drink in the moring that you think you have to feel for. I am sure you are a very pretty girl. You just have to realize this before you do become an alcoholic.

Only you know the answer to that. Alcoholism is a self diagnosed illness, unlike alcohol dependence, which is a bit different. Chances are, if you are thinking about it, and if alcohol has caused problems for you, you probably are an alcoholic. There are online AA meetings, and I am sure you could get the AA hotline number online. It certainly wouldn't hurt to go to a meeting, and it may even help. Good luck to you!

Your not a alcoholic yet but you will be if you don't stop now. You have to look in the mirror and see your attractive when your not drunk. There is something going on in your life that you are dealing with and have to let go. Put away the drink and be happy and stay pretty before you get old and wash your life away. Okay

There are many different classifications of alcoholics. Many that are functioning alcoholics. My thoughts are though that if you are questioning if you are an alcoholic - it is obviously a problem for you. Read some books about alcoholism and maybe attend an AA meeting and just listen. See if someone else has a similar story to yours. Good luck!

The fact that you asked is the first vital step. No matter which answer you choose as "the best" go find an Alcoholics Anonymous Chapter and start the program. You are using alcohol as a crutch. That is a big danger sign. Please, for the sake of those around you (and whether you think you are or not, you are worth it), go get help. Been there with my stepfather and an ex-wife.

well, you seem to experience a bit of guilt on your drinking habit...and that's not a healthy sign but it is a signal that you are seeking some help....for starters, have you thought about cutting back on your drinks? do you feel anger when or if you've been approached about your drinking habit? we touched on the guilt factor but do you feel bad about your drinking? as you mentioned, you drink in the morning...it seems like it is an eye-opener for you...if you answered yes to more than one question here, you've got a drinking problem...and you need to address it...what's triggering you to drink? what lack or empty space are you trying to avoid in your life? there are options for you to seek help...life is precious, no matter what circumstances you've had to live through so far....so don't underestimate your worth, go get help!

If you need alcohol to assist in anything, be it looks, actions, fun, then you are alcoholic to an extent. Seek help and good luck.
