so there fore they have a thought concept of a higher power but they think that it isnt doin or giving them what they want so they want to be a god or their own god and thus meaning they do believe in god. i mean they have this thought of what god should be ( under their control of course )or this thought of a concept of what god is or isnt to other people and then they call themselves non believers or atheists. so the real question is how (if you are a non believer , and it dont have to be my god ) did your god fail you and why did you give up on it ?

You have no CLUE what you are talking about. You clearly have no idea what the beliefs of Atheists are. Why don't you just worry about yourself. What the heck do you care what other ppl believe or don't believe in? It doesn't concern you.

it is easy to no believe because if a person does believe everything they hold to be true is now a lie and the realization of this will cause much personal turmoil. This is one of the greatest lies the old man---the devil has set upon men---just do not believe and everything will pass. The Bible states that even demons (yes, they do exist) believe and tremble , so if demons believe and some people do not well they have set their future on a lie that God is not real. Be assure God is real, Jesus is real and the devil is real like it or not that is the way it is so where do nonbelievers end when they are in front of God on that day of judgement---for it is appointed for men to die once and then the day of judgement--it is in the Bible.
The Bible states that the things from Heaven are foolish to nonbelievers so if a person wants to KNOW about God and His word read the Bible---a King James Bible; if you read a different one be careful with it.

God Bless

i'd disagree, typically on the ingredient you're making that the survival instinct 'creates' alternatives for you. someone thinking thoroughly rationally in one of those case (not achieveable, because of the very actuality the instinct stated) might want to ascertain those alternatives as solid, they'd merely appreciate that the possibilities of solid fortune were below being eaten. would not advise they could merely roll over and die, and actual it would want to honestly advise they'd pick the in straightforward words non-being-eaten selection that has the tremendous probability of solid fortune. even if it truly is beside the ingredient. The ingredient I favor to make is, what you've were given defined has ceased being a 'god'. particular, willful concept interior the not likely would have some advantages (even although the example you discuss resembles 'favor' to me in preference to 'concept'), even if psychological snap shots or hopeful scenarios on a mundane each day foundation quit being a god as they have ever been defined. In all circumstances, the gods are sensible, willful creatures that journey interacted, or do interact, with the realm. it really is a lengthy way exceptional than imagining skills positive effect to a centred capture 22 situation. yet as for the perfect ingredient, believing in inspite of would not advise that it exists in an purpose journey. existence is appealing clear; both inspite of is or it really is not. a guy or woman imagining inspite of to be quite might want to think that to be evidence of existence, even if it truly is the opposite of purpose; it really is the subjective interpretations of a ingenious and prescient or an imagining that accomplished to a million and only one guy or woman.

I have no concept of God, never had and never will, it's as simple as that. Most atheists don't come about till their of an age where they can think for themselves because as children they were told to believe, which was the case for me, but at no point did I ever accept that belief, so there was never a case of giving up on the concept when I never accepted it to begin with.

I never experienced a sense of "god failing me." This is a common misconception.

The fact is that I never believed in god. I certainly tried for a while, but it has been evident to me since I was a little boy that the stories about an invisible man in the sky are just stories.

So, I didn't give up on god. I just realized early on that he has never existed.

I hope there is a god, and I think there is a good possibility that there is some kind of god or other being/power etc. out there, but I don't believe that I can KNOW that there is for sure.

it has nothing to do with giving up on god or believing that god failed if u do not believe a god ever existed. athiests simply accept that there is no higher being watching over humanity and that no higher being created humanity and that no higher being determines a destiny, etc.

I have a concept of goblins, boogeymen and Santa Claus. That doesn't make them real. Same with God.
I do believe in God, but not from that kind of argument.

I actually grew up in a church setting and believed it until I was a teenager. I realized a lot of the hypocrisies and learned to trust myself and know that I don't have to have a book to tell me what to do, that I am capable of being a good person all on my own.... as well as nonjudgemental. Peace.
