I'm 5'3 and am wondering what the ideal weight for someone my height would be....the BMI thing says anything between 100 pounds to 135 is "within the normal range"...but that really doesn't help.

Actually it does. Go by your frame size too. What do you weigh now? Aim for the middle then at that point decide were it's good or you need to weight more or less.
WW says:113 is ideal. Also remember if you work out muscle weighs more than fat. If you are older 45+ 141 is ideal..

Here is a site that has an ideal weight calculator. You can find many of them on the web. I put in your height and it said the ideal weight is 115 but could range from 112-140.

Well, if you are a white girl, the BMI calculator is right. But if you are an African American female, with a thick build, about 145-150lbs.

115 is fairly reasonable, but if you have a lot of muscle or a heavier build it would be higher.
