Hey Guy,
Go for it, and REMEMBER..... NO MATTER WHAT THEY ASK YOU TO DO, DO IT.... NO MATTER WHAT THEY TELL YOU, THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING TO GET YOU KILLED OR HURT.
But, at several points, when you think that you can not go any farther, just keep going. Being tired is the worst.
i HAVE BEEN THERE.

Yes.
Check out the Navy Seals work out program. You can buy it on tape and you will need to work out hard for atleast 6 weeks tobe in top shape, prior to going thru it. I mean if you want to stand out in the class.
Run 2 miles per day with a 10 lb. pack on for the first two weeks.
Walk 5 miles every 3rd. day with a 40-50 lb. Pack on. Yes, you need to do this.
Do 50 sit ups in less than 2 minutes.
Do 50 push ups in less than 2 minutes.
Increase the push ups toward the third week to 75, 100, 150.
The key is to be able to do twice as much as they require so, you will seem tobe better than everyone else in the pack. It will give you an edge over everyone else.
Your goal is to take the lead, always volunteer for anything. Be the first one to raise your hand. It will show you as a leader, not a follower, which is your goal. TEAM LEADER.
Buy some ear plugs, so much yelling!
Jump when they say to.
It will become automatic, that's the idea.
Buy a CD on hypnosis for concentration. also will help you sleep. Fatigue will not come if you get quality sleep, wear ear plugs if needed to sleep.

The only thing that is going to get you through ANY military training, (basic, boot campo, SEAL training ,Ranger training, etc) is YOU. You have got to want it more than anything in your life. You have got to fell the burn deep in your heart.
I went to Marine Corps boot camp (back when the still hit recruits) at 5'9" and weighing 119 pounds. My friggin sea bag weighted more than I did. I also had difficulty bench pressing 50 pounds more than once or twice. I had people betting me serious cash ( to a total of $400 or so) that I would drop out. The ONLY thing that got me through it was the fact that I REFUSED to not make it. I was leaving in a body bag or a uniform, and that was the end of it.
IF you go in with that strong of a desire, no one can stop you.

run fast. kick heals if you have to. If you fall out of a five mile run, you're gone. It works that way as long as you;re a ranger. You'lll see people leave, and then come back the same day.

TAKE YOUR TIME, AND MOST OF ALL BE YOUR SELF WITH OUT A FRONT OR ANY ROLES THAT PEOPLE SEEM TO PLAY. THE RANGERS WILL SEE RIGHT THROUGH ANY OF THAT. AND IT'S NOT AS HARD AS YOU TEND TO THINK.

It's mostly mental. Once your mind quits you are done. Stay focused mentally and you can do it.
