I am very skinny...it seems like I have "no meat on my bones"...also, I am auditioning for a play in about 2 months and the character is a little thicker than I am currently..so how do I gain weight in my body without gaining any fat in my cheeks.

Eating more won't help me much..all my life I've been eating the way I wanted (junk food and everything) but my metabolism is extremely high..so when I eat, I don't gain much weight.

DON'T listen to those who said to just eat junk food all day. You want the right kind of weight, not just fat. To do this, you need a protein drink high in calories. My uncle also has a very high metabolism and if he doesn't get enough calories, he loses a lot of weight really quickly. He mixes a powder in a glass of milk, and it amounts to almost 1000 calories. I think there are a few of them out there, you have to find the one that works for you.

Whatever you do dont eat lots of junkfood. You will gain weight but you wont be healthy. Eat complex carbs and REAL food- pasta, burgers, steaks, chicken, not ceral, donuts, and chocolate. You will gain weight but not in a tubby, bad way. If you eat the right way the weight will distribute itself around your body perfectly.

Good luck at the play!

I would like to know to, would love to gain 10 or 15 pounds. I can eat the fattiest stuff, even at night, and it just does NOTHING.

I think trying to gain for some is just as frustrating as trying to lose it for others. Wish we could trade half then we'd all be happy!

eat lots of proteins and amino's carbs and some fiber along with a good work out routine will put some weight on you. but instead of three large meals, eat 5 smaller meals.it changes your metabilism and coud help you retain a little extra energy and help to build your fat cells.

You can't decide where you want to gain weight - if you are able to gain - it will happen wherever your body wants it to go - it's not a choice. Check with a doctor to see about protein shakes - you want to gain in a healthy way - without increasing your cholesterol etc.

well, this is quite simple...

eat more!

spred your meals out to about 6-7 meals a day and progressivly increase the amount of food you eat at every sitting...

also, look into nutritional supplements such as weight gainers or protien shakes...
