Indeed. It is expect the unexpected and the unexpected will be expected except for when the expectations are exceptional and the excuses are inexcusable. In that case an expectorant will come in handy.

In general, the unexpected is expected, so yes it is. However, the individual events are still unexpected. It can be expected that something unexpected will happen, but until it happens, the even will remain unexpected.

well it depends on your view of the question. like for example when you say "expecting" it could be meant as know exactly whats going to happen or having an idea of a list possibilities of what could happen or take unexpected in my opinion i'd say unexpected means not know whats going to happen so,in my opinion your are asking if someone knows whats going to happen dont know whats going to happen actually know whats goin to happen but like i said in the begining it depends on how someone views you question like is expecting the unexpected mean the unexpected was really expected no but if someone looks at it this way ,if someone thinks or has an idea whats going to happen dont know whats going to happen but actually knows whats going to happen yes, but to answer your question using a (yes or no) i'd have to say no.

definitely yes!!!! when you are expecting for the unexpected, and that unexpected did happened that is expected. no doubt about that.
that means you are waiting for a miracle, and when that happened you are no longer surprised because you are expecting for it.
