first of all if it happend to a family member then it does relate to someone. second no. if they really love someone and with all of their heart then they only love them even more as time goes on.

I will never get tired of her. I would love her more and more until the end of time. When she dies I will make a bed over her grave at night. Unfortunately she got tired of fighting. too bad. I still love her and I always will. I'm going to try and move on, but I made up my heart and my mind already.

Trust me on this one babe: you don't ever get tired of anyone you actually really properly love. love isn't fickle like that.
This guy never loved her in the first place. he probably really liked her, or lusted after her, or both - and we all know those feelings are definitely fleeting.
