There are two categories of blind people
(1). Who are blind by birth : These people do not see colors in their dream. Their dreams includes only noises & emotions.
(2). Who became blind due to any happening in life: These people see colors in their dreams but the intensity of the colors is associated with the time when they last seen the colors in their original life before being blind.
****Ok so like the people who are blind do dream. The dreams of people who have been blind from a very early age (called “congenital blindness”) tend to be different from those who are blind now but had sight before. Those who are congenitally blind often have dreams that include more instances of sounds. Both groups experience dreams as imaginatively rich as those of sighted people.
Whether or not congenitally blind people dream in images has been studied, but the findings have been mixed – some studies conclude that congenitally blind people do not dream visual images, while other reports conclude that they do.
Where's my 10 points?
Thank you! hehehe

they can still imagine what seeing is like. They have dreams that are similar. If they became blind, then they dream what it was like to see.
oddly enough some blind people say they see color. Although Im not sure how they can identify what color is, unless they actually saw it. Seeing is something that must be taught. I know that sounds weird, but image association is the most complex function in the brain.
There was actually a study on that. There was a guy who was blind for most of his life and doctors found that they could fix the problem, it was somekind of clot or something. When he woke up he was able to see, but he could not recognize what he was seeing until he held it in his hands. Talk about weird!

If they were born blind, then probably not, at least not in the sense you and I understand it, but if they had some sight and then lost it, then certainly they do -- dreams are generated, in part, in the visual cortex of the brain. Unless the loss of sight was due to brain damage in the visual cortex, that portion of the brain would still function to send signals to the rest of the brain during dream state.
Interesting question, though... although I'd say that those blind from birth don't see anything when they dream, I would wonder if their other senses might become more involved since they took the place of vision.

It depends if they were born blind or not. If they had been able to see in the past then they can dream images but if not they dream sounds, feelings, smells and some even light.

I think that people who are born blind don't see anything in their dreams, but people who become blind over thier lives do.

You know, it actually depends on if they were EVER able to see! If they could see at some point before going blind, than yes they see...even in color. But if not, than no! Sad, huh?
