I couldn't hadnle it, but it depends upon the personalityh of the spouse, if they can put up w/ 40 unfinished projects lying around.
There are also meds the person w/ ADD can take, to not be so overt in their ADD-ness.... that could go a long way in making their ADD tolerable for others.

There are no guarantees for any marriage. If a couple is willing to work hard and be committed to each other it can last.
It helps for the ADD spouse to stay on his medication. Often the ADD person goes off the meds. because he thinks he is feeling fine, so he must be "cured". A person who truly has ADD will need to stay on meds. forever, just like if he had diabetes or heart disease.

Well yes, it's just like any other marriage. My friend has to concentrate more on conversations and when he's reading a book he makes notes in the margins but it's really no big deal.

Gosh, I sure hope so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm ADHD and I haven't given up on living happily ever after with someone.
Wow- that's sick, sad, whatever that you'd expect a person's life to end over a condition that for most isn't even disabling!!!!!!!!! Get a grip-
