just wondering how can you get rid of knits @ home with out buying those expensive foams etc.
please provide home remedies or whatever

I always buy NIX.. it's not expensive at all.. but there's nothing else u can really do.. uumm.. but otherwise.. you also have to put pillows in plastic bags for 2 weeks.. and wash everything.. so yea..

I've heard you can smother them with mayonnaise. But I don't put too much stock in those home remedies. However, a pharmacist told me that the dog shampoo for lice works just as good as that for humans and is cheaper. Be sure to wash all bedding!!

use veg. oil and cake it in the hair put a shower cap on and leave in for 8 hrs. also what i have done to keep them from comming back is i use a hot iron or strightener on the hair all the time like at least 3-4 times a week , the heat kills the eggs and any live lice that is left in the hair .

Well to get them out of your hair you need to get the shampoo. Wash all the bed sheets every day. Use towels once and wash them right away after. If you have a deep freeze you can throw pillows and plushies in there for a few hours to kill the bugs and eggs.
If that doesn't work you'll have to get the special stuff.

well go see the doctor or somehting they'll have a special shampoo or u and get rid of like all the furniture in your room and all your sheets!

at Wal Mart they sell cheap ones.. and it works...
i'll be honest and say i used to have lice when i was like 6 years old or 7... i 4got what age it was.. but yeah..
other wise... all i can think of is cutting your hair

why don't u go to a pharmacy and ask for a good medicine.there are combs or shampoos that kill them and the good thing is that they don't damage your hair like some other problems.

you have to shower everyday and scrub your head while shampooing. it should work.
