she really needs to see a doctor first of all, make sure she has lot of juice and cookies and water after a major loss of blood. She may want to start taking iron and vitamins, women's one a day would be great. best of luck!

She probably has some really superficial blood vessels inside her nose. If she has allergies or the air in your home is exceptionally dry the skin protecting these blood vessels tears easily causing the nose bleeds. She can buy some over the counter saline nasal spray to keep the inside of her nose moist, or, if the problem gets really annoying a doctor can cauterize or seal the little blood vessels curing her nose bleeds quite effectively. (It works but it's not a real comfortable procedure)

I had a similar problem a few years ago. I just stopped sleeping with the AC on and it never happened again. All the people suggesting a humidifier are on the same thought path I am...I'd turn off the AC and get some moisture in the air.
Go to a doctor if it doesn't stop soon!
Good Luck!

She is breathing dry air causing her nasal passages to dry out. She should try using a humidifier in her room.. Also, if the capillaries in the nose are weakened by the dry air or by aggressively blowing the nose, you can help to strenghten them by taking extra vitamin Cs. Try these two things and the nose bleeds will probably stop. Good luck.

You should see a doctor, something it can be cause by dryness, which I have seen a lot of, or if she sneezes a lot, but usually dryness if it's after sleeping. It can also happen when it's really hot out. If you want it to stop, there may be some medication, or just use a humidifier, or a air purifier.

i went to the doctor for this and he told me I was fine but that my sinuses just got dried out at night and that i should try a humidifier or a cool air mister. I use it every night and I don't have nose bleeds in the mornings. But you should still see a doctor about it.

my 6 year old Son deals with this all of the time. they are miniature clots way up in his nose and when he sleeps depending on how dry the air may be they break and cause a hell of a nosebleed. have her go to the doc and get a spray that she can use daily to help this and a dehumidifier to keep the air moist will help. she may still have them occasionally but it should help a lot.

Your place might have really dry air and it's drying out her nasal passages and causing her to bleed.... try Saline Nasal Drops. You can get them at any pharmacy and there is no medication in them....they are basiclaly salt water, but they help with dry nasal passages. However it could be a sign of high blood pressure. I would o to the Dr to make sure.

Your girl really needs to be taking some vitamins. Multi-vitamins are easiest to take for it's only one pill, but she may need more than one daily. I would also suggest a humidifier in the bedroom. Best wishes
