Washers are usually 110 while dryers are 220. If dryers are 110 in Europe, are washers 55?
A converter is your best bet.

I work in a plant that has a German parent company and we have several european plugs throughout because they brought their equipment over when they built the plant... anyhow we also have some adaptors which have a european plug on one end and a 110 volt outlet on the other...Where you might buy these I don't know but they should be available somewhere on the net.

well you would probably have to get an outlet converter to switch over the different voltage. that way your electric dryer will work.
