No, really I am a great girl. In NC. Where did all the good men go? Were they sucked into a vortex that I missed? I think it was easier to meet men before I had a great career and really found out that I am pretty damn amazing...damn that self esteem really f**ks stuff up! lol Any advise for a great woman who doesnt care to settle?

Self-esteem shouldn't be a problem...IF you know your own personality and what personality you seek in someone else.
What qualities in a man are you looking for? What would make a man 'amazing' in your opinion? (in short, what do you want in a relationship?)
People do change. What I thought made a woman 'amazing' just 10 years ago has changed a lot as I learned more about what is important in life. Call it maturity, or just following my principles. I had to prioritize what I thought were the most important 'amazing' qualities I sought in a woman, and then my search became easier.
Keep this in mind: Nobody's perfect. You may have to settle on some small, undesireable traits in order to land the mate who posesses the larger--truly 'amazing'--traits.
I wish you the best, but don't let 'the mate chase' occupy your whole life. Keep a balance...everything in moderation....and it will come along, if you know what it is you really seek.

If you had no career and were less than average as a woman, you still wouldn't find a great man. The bitches and whores always find a man. If you settle for less than you deserve, that's exactly what you'll get.

my advise is have fun in life and when it meant to be, it just happens....I found my great guy after being married to a jerk 17 yrs,then dating here & there for 6 yrs...then he came into my life as a friend ,then turned out to be more :)

I have many female friends and they always say they want to find a man like me. But the women I like are psycho. Alss I can say is hang in there. Unfortunately we have to weed through hundreds of bad ones till we find a good one.

Seems we have a few things in common. I can't seem to find a decent woman if my life depended on it. Good thing it doesn't. If you know any in my area feel free to let me know..... I'm in michigan.
