Try: www.kayak.com for flights from USA to Moldova...they had hundreds of flights for between $2,500.00 & $3,200.00 USD. Also try: http://www.skyscanner.net/ FROM eastern Europe (like Prague) to other destinations. Hope this helps!

It depends on what website you are using. Some travel sites do not have the airlines that service those cities. So if it does not support the cities you are looking for, it means the airlines that participate with that website do not service one or both of those cities. Before anyone can suggest a price, you need to clarify what US city or European cities you are talking about, that makes all the difference.
When looking up the flights, enter the city code KIV for Moldova. You would fly from the US to Europe, Russia, Turkey or Tel Aviv. You can also look at Iasi, Romania as a back up depending on where in Moldova you are traveling to if price and availibility are your main concerns. For example, Air Moldova operates daily flights between Istanbul, Moscow and Vienna and select days between Athens, Bucharest, Frankfurt, Larnaca, Lisbon, Prague and Rome (FCO). You can search the aggregate websites like Kayak and they will check multiple websites for you. Or go directly to an airline's website and if they have an alliance or ticketing agreement they will sell you the entire itinerary for both airlines. It just depends on where you are flying out of to tell you who the best to go with will be.
Chisinau is serviced by the following airlines:
Air Companies :
9U - AIR MOLDOVA
2M - MOLDAVIAN AIRLINES
RO – TAROM
TK - TURKISH AIRLINES
V3 - CARPATAIR
OS - AUSTRIAN AIRLINES
6P – CLUBAIR
VV - AEROSVIT AIRLINES
LY - EL AL ISRAEL AIRLINES
Just be careful using sites like Cheap Tickets, Hotwire, Priceline, Lowestfare.com etc. The ones to stay away from with International travel are sites like these or ones that advertise "deep discounts". Most of the time you can not see what you are purchasing as far as schedules or airlines and they lock you into the fare/ticket when you purchase it. You can not make changes to these tickets and airlines will not touch them. So whatever site you use, make sure you READ ALL OF THE FARE RULES.
This may not be the definate answer you are looking for, but this helps steer you in the right direction.

Airlines are not biased, they base their flight schedules on demand. If there is not a huge demand for travel to a certain destination, the options will be more limited.
Try one of these sites for the best rates and options:
www.cheaptravelnetwork.com, www.travelocity.com, www.orbitz.com, www.priceline.com, www.qixo.com, www.kayak.com, www.cheaptickets.com, www.expedia.com, www.hotwire.com, www.cheapflights.com, www.mobissimo.com, www.farechase.com, www.sidestep.com, www.globester.com
Good luck with your travels.
