When I download music from limewire, I get a ton of songs at a time. Now, do I really have to move each song over individualy into iTunes? Isn't there a way to get iTunes to search my computer for new music? I've tried just dropping 'My Music' into iTunes, but it copies everything, making doubles of all the songs it already has. There has to be an easier way.

What I do is when I put the songs into iTunes, I go ahead and hide them, so I wont put them in again. To hide them just, right click the slected and click hide, make sure you go into tools and folder options and change so it wont show hidden files, works pretty good.

if you know where your songs are saved to, then in itunes, go to file, add file to playlist. go to the folder, and press ctrl. click on each song you want and press open. your selected songs will be in itunes. if you dont know what folder it is, by default it is C:/My Music, or C:/My Document and Settings/(your name)/my music
