How do i get my sims (from sims 2) to break up when theyre married? Ive tried arguing and it takes to long even when i make them cheat on each other their not mad! What do I do?

Get them angry at each other, even physically fighting, and then you should get an option to "break up"... Or you can move one out. They'll still technically be married but it's easier for them to break up if they're not living together.

make them mad at each other (furious)--if the relationship is too high, irritate, argue, and fight the relationship down. After the relationship reaches a certain level, the option will be there to break up. Also, if one catches the other cheating, the option will appear.

You have them fight. If you want them to break up you can have them get to a very low realtionship level. Or you can kill one of the sims. By getting their realationship at a low level, have them dis each other, and fight a lot or just not spend social time together.

if you do something to the one person that destroys their life, like they get fired from their job, it has a huge effect on the persons relationships, everything in general really. I cant imagine the marriage working much after that.

Have them tease each other or brag to each other well one is very tired and the other is awake.
