My boyfriend gets out of the shower and walks around the house without his clothes on and has conversations with his son when hes naked. Is that cool?

It's fine. No big deal. Being confortable with nudity is fine. If it was a daughter, maybe not so cool. Usually kids will let adults know when they're being nude begins to bother them. Some kids are never bothered. We don't worry about clothes too much in our house. Basic requirements are underwear, but a quick dash from the shower to the bedroom is no big deal.

As long as there is no sexual connotation, it shouldn't be a cause for alarm. What would be damaging would be if the father acted ashamed of his body or covered it up quickly as though a naked body was a bad thing.

A son learns from his father. They have the same body parts. It's natural and shouldn't be a big deal to be seen naked by same sex family members.

But, for the record, it would be better if the father didn't walk around naked all the time. I mean, if he's coming out of the shower and going to the dresser to get dressed, that's different. But being naked and hanging out all the time (no pun intended) is not a good idea.

That's my understanding.

I think it's fine, I walk around naked in my home and my kids are 3, 11, and 14. The two older are girls. I don't do it all the time, but usually from the shower to my bedroom. It's no big deal. When my son is older I will be more careful. Your boyfriend is dealing with a son so I don't see a problem. I have also taken great care to teach my daughters modesty so that they don't misinterpret my quick trips from the bathroom to the bedroom as it being okay to always walk around naked.

No, it is not cool at all. Where is his priority's. I would not have a boyfriend who did that. That is just to gross and weird. It teaches the boy that it is OK to walk around naked, when the man should have respect for you and others living in the home. Get the man counseling before it is to late. And maybe the son to.

This is not ok. The son is nine years old and I dont think it appropriate for him to see his father naked. However, because the son has been exposed to so much now, the father should definitely use this opportunity to talk to the boy about his own private parts but your boyfriend should remained clothed around his son.

Maybe he just feels comfortable being naked around the house. Well, at least its not a daughter.

There is nothing wrong with nudity. They are both boys and have the same parts. If his son was uncomfortable or upset, then it would be an issue. If you are uncomfortable with your boyfriend's nudity, approach him carefully. But don't speak on behalf of his son unless the son asks you.

As long as its just a guy (and as long as the man does nothing to the boy) its perfectly fine. If it were a girl, on the other hand i think it would be different

"Seeing" is not an issue with men, they just don't make a big deal out of body-pride.

"Touching" while naked might be a concern; but only if done of private parts.
