Joseph was not jealous of God, and he did what the lord ask of him. Joseph was much older than Mary and he did have doubts about this young girl with child. But, God sent an Angel and Joseph doubts were taken care of. Joseph had other kids and stayed with Mary and taught Jesus to also be a carpenter. I think Joseph had a great love for Jesus and Mary. Joseph went by faith.

No because Jesus is not God's son but rather a human that was created through God's miracle just like Adam (- and Adam is also not God's son). And since Joseph was told about it he knew that it's God's way of showing His power.

No. Joseph was a holy man who knew Mary was chosen by God for Jesus. He accepted it, was celibate, and loved Mary and Jesus for the rest of his life.

Umm....Joseph replaced into not with Eve - he replaced into with Mary. if you're serious in any respect about this question, the Bible does say that Joseph kept Mary from the traditional public after checking out she replaced into pregnant. no matter if he replaced into jealous or not contained in the starting up, it really is sparkling that when Jesus replaced into born he replaced right into a superb figure to Him.

no, but he thought to put her away privately and quietly. So no one would know her shame. When he was told what was happening he was a happy camper. God Bless

Matthew 1:18Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. 20But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

why would Joseph consider god as a rival??? because he got to be the step-father of the SAVIOR??? iF ANYTHING IF i WERE HIM..I'd feel ridiculously repsonsible and HUMBLED having the chance..but scared to death by having to father a child that powerful and meaningful to the world...not only those who lived before him but those who would come later on in life...simply mind blowing as far as humility is considered..
