Strange dream g/f has been having.?
My g/f is15 and like everynight she has a dream that she is falling she always wakes up right before she hits the ground And when she wakes up she is like numb, and I don't know what it is, but she just has this wierd feeling when she wakes up.. .I have been over, and she has fallen asleep on the couch. And she like violently shakes for a while. At first I would let it run its course, but lately I have woken her up and she still gets the wierd feeeling... Last week her best friend slept over, and she said she was like violently shaking for like 7 minutes then she woke up..... her brother has said she was violently shaking everynight right before she jumps up, but she had never belived him but she trusts her friend. What is this? Why is this going on? What should she do about it? Should whoever is w/ her wake her up or let w/e is going down rin its course?

I'm used to dreaming, just like your gf.. Falling dream i used to dream when i was young, now quite rare, mostly been chased or what..
I think her condition is serious and it is not normal.. It would be better to see a doctor to check it up. Or a phycologist, see whether they can help. Don't wait untill the last minute when the situation becomes the worst. U just tell her this should not be a decease, but just to ensure that, better go and check it up.. U really care for her

i don't think she is having seizures because she isn't incontinent of urine or feces (uncontrollable peeing or doing #2 on herself) and she doesn't get injured. She may be experiencing restless leg syndrome(which is unlikely) or using attention getting behavior for secondary gains. For example the shaking brings concern and care from individuals that would otherwise would not be there for her She may be doing this subconsciously without any conscious attempt.. She also might be experiencing violent dreams that she doesn't remember. Have her evaluated at her doctor's office. I don't think it's anything serious. She may be in conflict with things in her life that are overwhelming to her. Help is out there. Good luck, be supportive, and I feel her doctor could get to the bottom of this easily and help her out effectively.

oh no =( I think she should go to the doctor. I saw this tv show and the girl was having the very same thing, and what happened is that I don't know if she had epilepsy but she had a veyr bad disease and its dangerous because she got seizures. Does she get seizures? If she does, then you should go to the doctor. but it could also be a bad dream...... hmmm... well, I wish I could help you but I don't know. Have faith in God and pray for her. I hope she gets better =) but yeah... you should tell her parents too ={ so they can do something

Falling dreams are very common but I have never heard of anyone "shaking violently" because of them. I would recommend she ask a doctor, or at least her parents.

She definitely need to go to a doctor asap. It almost sounds like she could be having a seizure if she is shaking like that.

She doesn't shake because of the dream. She dreams of falling because of her shake. Also there is this individual called a Doctor... you hear about this person? Take her there.

I'm very against psychologists, but a doctor or sleep research facility may help. just let her know you're there for her and that you only want her to be okay. but definitly see a professional.
