I love butter on peanut butter sandwiches. Couldn't imagine it without. Peanut butter and butter do not taste the same.

I always do because it makes the peanut butter go down just a little bit easier, and it gives it a good taste too

Well, I don't butter the bread before putting peanut butter on it, but I do butter my toast when I put peanut butter on the toast. Just like my toast that way. But can eat a slice of bread with peanut butter by itself, or just eat peanut butter on a spoon out of the bottle. Love peanut butter!

When I was little I would butter my toast and then put peanut butter on top. I found the taste to be smoother and creamier. But now I don't! I don't use either..

ARGHH, this is like my worst nightmare from growing up... No one should put butter on a PB&J on purpose...Growing up my Mom did and we always had to throw them away. It's Butter, On Peanut butter. And Jelly'BLEAKLKELK!

i put butter on peanut butter toast, never thought of putting it on a regular sandwich though.

double the fat, but it keeps the bread from sticking to the roof out your mouth and getting caught in your troat. I can't say I particularly like the butter, but it is for safety reasons after I almost choked.
