She definitely does not have a bladder problem. I have changed the litter and the box and cleaned where she soiled the carpert and she STILL pisses right outside the box, aaarrg.

Not to mention, the box is more than big enough for her. i even put two boxes there so she has a choice, if there is one piece of boop in the box, she pisses but not poop, just pees outside it. she is not nearsighted. not that i know of.

the vet told me that sometimes they will want to mark there territory aroudn the box so no other animal will use it, or come near it. my cat does the same thing.

After you eliminate medical problems, you work on changing the behavior.

What often works it keeping the cat in the same room as the litter box till it gets the idea.

It could be a bladder problem and your cat can't get to the box in time. Have her checked out by a vet before you say it's a behavior problem.

Your cat could have a urine problem. Maybe you don't change the litter box often enough. Call the veterian, and tell them the problem. Do you have anew baby / As cats can be jealous of a new baby.

Mine did that WHEN.... the box was TOO small for her body to adequately get into.. and 2) the box height should be at least 4" tall.. with the above, you should have NO problems

Perhaps she has a bladder problem, or she is picky and the litter box isn't clean enough for her.

I'd get her checked by a vet just to rule out any medical problems. While you are there, ask your vet for advice.

Is your cat older than a kitten? If so, has something changed at your house? It could be she is mad about something.

Maybe she doesn't like where you put her box. Cats are funny like that.
