Well, lemon juice might work okay on your hair but I've tried it on my hair (also really really light brown) and layed out in the sun a while and it didn't do a thing. Other people reccomended Sun-In or peroxide but that isn't natural and you get roots. I also wanted to go to a golden blonde so I brewed a very strong cup of CHAMOMILE TEA, put it in a spray bottle, sprayed it evenly throughout my hair and spent 3-5 hours in the sun. Do this about twice a week and you'll keep getting lighter. Once you've reached a color you like, follow the same procedure only every other week. The result is very natural but noticeable and there are no roots. This turned out really well for me and I wish you luck. People also try rhubarb juice but I've never really heard anything about it. Hope I helped!

Try peroxide & water (half & half). Spritz it on after a shower [wet hair] and comb through. It gradually lightens. (I have never tried this, personally.)
Fresh lemon and water works... Go into the sun (for a long time) and keep spritzing your hair with the solution.
There used to be [as I read someone else said] "Sun In" that worked well. Apply it while you're in the sun, I think. (Available in "haircare" aisles at stores.)

i have dark brown hair....when i was in high school i ran cross country and track so I was out in the sun alot...i didnt use anything...i noticed thru the season that the top of my hair where it was pulled back would turn a goldish or blonde color....so the sun alone will do it ( I was out there maybe an hour and a half about four days a week)....but if you're gonna do it that way use alot of sunblock for the rest of you.

there is this stuff called 'sun-in' that you spray in your hair and then go into the sun and it will lighten it "naturally". Just be careful not to get it on your clothes cause it will stain them. Good luck!!

lemon juice, sit in the sun with the juice on it, wash. Repeat until you reach the colour you would like. Careful if you have red in your hair.

there's a product called sun-in (or at least there used to be) you just spray it on and either blow dry it or go out in the sun. It lightens gradually either way. Hope this helps.
