From a distance, his eyes. I find eyes to be the most attractive feature on a person. If you mean during a conversation, then I quickly notice whether or not he has a sense of humor. I'm pretty quick to make jokes but I know some people are sensitive so I'm always cautious at first to see if someone doensn't have a good sense of humor.
