Is this a job offer you feel is a 'once in a lifetime' offer or is it one that you could possibly receive again in a few years? Are you close to your family or would a little distance be good for you all? As for leaving your true love, well, is there any chance that he/she would follow you to LA and is there a greater chance that you two will be married in a few years time?
Personally, if it is a once in a life time opportunity, I would probably go for it. Leaving my family is not an issue. There are vacations and airplanes. As for the true love, either they will follow you out there or they may not be the one true love because you would not be even considering the job

Yes. This is about making your life better. Wonderful career opportunities don't come around too often. Take advantage of it. As far as your true love, if he really is, he will understand and not try to do something selfish like hold you back. That goes for your family as well. Go for it! If you don't, you'll always wonder, "what if?"

Nope, I'm married. But then if it were really a killer job, she (the love of my life, my wife) would come with me because we're a team. If you can't say this about the person in your life, don't worry -- he/she is not the "one". But cheer up -- there's not just "one true love" of your life, there can be lots of "true" loves. A relationship is as good or as bad, as "true" as you make it.

Yep. I am willing to bet if you have a great family, and that really is the love of your life, they all support you. Opportunity may only come once. Take the job!

Only if I can still see them on a regular basis and it has to be a move that my true love can accept and is OK and we must make arrangements to be to together as soon as possible because money can't buy me love.

It depends on your circumstances. If that person really loves you, he'll go with you. If you love that person you'll stay behind with them. If you're considering leaving them, then maybe they're not your true love.
