I am trying to lose weight so i keep weighing myself, but when i do it more than once in one day it has different answers. I've tried it in the morning, in the afternoon, and at night and all three times i get different answers. When do i check it for my real weight?

Check in the morning after you use the bathroom. This is your real weight. After that you will weigh more because of the food and water you eat. Also will will always weigh quite a bit more after you take a shower because your skin and hair absorbs a lot of water. So like I said in the morning after the bathroom but befor the shower.

yeah, when ya do it more than once a day (do it the same exact time.. that's the key) you DO get different answers. I'd recommend weighing first thing you get up (skip clothes.) This is what I'd consider your 'real weight' (if there is such a thing.) It's not what you actually 'weigh' they say but what your body mass is composed of. I'm a marathon runner (l20) and I am all muscle & bone. (I know.. I sound like a brag.) Muscle weighs more than fat.. but you need a balance of the two.. Don't go by those weight/height charts. Everybody knows by now what's 'good for you' (we know.. we just don't DO it.. we cop out.. we need fiber, fruits, veggies) and we know we need exercise. (Check out a show on the t.v... I do 'Body Shaping' w/Gil on the health channel for ex'ple.) It's not really about 'losing weight' but it's about toning/firming I mean .. up what we've got to 'work with.' If you lose too fast, you might be losing the wrong stuff (muscles) and your body rebels (and you put it right back on.. with interest.) I always used to say the fastest way to gain weight was to 'go on a diet' lol.. I lost 75 lbs. doing things the right way finally and kept it off 5 years w/marathon running, good diet, like I already said. (eh, I've gotta be boring to read.. lol) later-

pick a time, say morning, right after you've been to the bathroom, without clothes. Stick with that every day. That'll be pretty accurate. BUT weight fluctuates 2-3 pounds in the course of a day and also in the course of the week. If you're female, it'll go up 2-3 pounds during menstruation.
Best is to write it down every day, but only compare the weight of say Saturday last week with Saturday of this week. ... and get a decent scale.

My understanding is that it's best to weigh yourself in the morning.... but I know that it should always be done around the same time of day to get an accurate estimate. More importantly - don't go by weight, go by how you feel and look. Muscle weighs more than fat - so if you lose fat, you might still way the same because you have increased your muscle. Ask yourself..."Do I look & feel better than I did a week ago?"

Morning only, no breakfast or without eating anything. That's the right thing to do. Aside from considering the fact that you're weighing scale is accurate. Also, if you weigh youself without clothes in the morning that's your ideal weight. But, if you weigh WITH CLOTHES you have to consider the right computation. Here: (your total weight minus 2) ----

Weigh yourself in the morning, and once a week. I usually pick Friday. Why Friday, well most people pick Monday, start of a new week right... wrong... end of a long weekend. By picking Friday, you are more likely to get a better result, and not have to worry about that bowl of chips you cheated with :)

All those results are your real weight, unless someone's been tampering on the scale. It differs because of food eaten, or anything you put in your body and also body wastes that you have taken out during the course of the day.

If I were you, I'd take those result numbers and average them to get a daily weight. Add all weight results together and divide the sum by the number of weight results added.

you should under no circumstances weigh your self. actual i have self belief scales are evil. i take advantage of to weigh myself once per week or on the acceptable of each and each month and all that did for me replaced into get me frusterated. i'm particular I spelled that incorrect. Its stress that no one needs. If ya pick to charm to close in the experience that your dropping weight degree your self like once a month . bypass through ways your outfits extra wholesome. heavily, human beings can lose and benefit 5 or so lbs. in an afternoon, yet inches is what you actually pick to bypass through.

You should weigh yourself at the same time and under the same circumstances every day. I, for example, weigh myself every morning after I've stepped out of the shower and before I get dressed.
You also need to check your scale for accuracy.
