I really only hate the ones that try to 'convert' me. This one lady was giving me a speech on why I shouldn't eat meat and ****.... OMG LEAVE ME ALONE! HUMANS HAVE EATEN MEAT FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS! ....I don't care what they do or don't eat, so long as they let me enjoy the food that I like!

Yup, and I'm a member of the new PETA...

People for the EATING of TASTY Animals...

There's room for all of God's creatures -- right next to the mashed potatoes...

If we weren't supposed to eat animals, they wouldn't be made of MEAT.

TRUE THAT!

Now maybe hate is a bit too strong, but I highly disagree with much of what they say. I mean, COME ON, how do you expect humans too stop eating meat after the thousands of years that they have. There is a reason that we are called omnivores- WE EAT EVERYTHING. The thing that really bothers me is when they think what they are doing is "super healthy." I am probably healthier than any veggie.

And for all the Veggies out there:
They are going to keep on butchering animals whether you eat them or not. And animals reproduce; I don't think we are going to be running out of cows any time soon.

But hey, if they think that's what is best for them, then let them stick to their obstinate new age ways.

I used to be vegetarian, but a few years ago my body told me I needed more animal protein. I never tried to convert others when I didn't eat meat. However, there are lots of reasons to go light on meat. Ecological, health, among others.

Only the ones who are in my face trying to tell me how to live my life THEIR way.

I have two co-workers who are vegetarian, and I didn't even know it until I had known them for two years. Any time we went out after work, they ordered a salad or something, and never said a single word when I ordered steak or chicken. I just thought they were dieting.

I generally handle the preachy vegetarian/vegans by agreeing to live their lifestyle IF and ONLY IF they agree to convert to a lifestyle choice I think is "best"...then I name something totally perverted and off-the-wall.

You should eat a big, juicy hamburger in front of them the next time they confront you. Then you should lecture them why meat is an important part of their diet...see how they like that! Maybe that'll get them to back off the next time.

I don't mind them as long as they don't force their beliefs on me.
