Surely that's a vascular problem. It can either be venous or arterial. But it seems like an arterial insufficiency. Claudication (pain upon resting) is a characteristic manifestation of peripheral arterial insufficiencies. other symptoms are usually feelings of coldness, numbness, and tingling on the affected extremity. There are several arterial problems (arteriosclerosis obliterans, acute arterial occlusion, thromboangitis obliterans, raynaud's disease), you could check these stuff out. If u have a diabetes, hypertension, or if you are smoking this could also contribute to your feet problem. Hypersensitivity and genetic predisposition usually cause these problems. I think you should check with your doctor. :-) Lifesyle changes are the best for vascular health. Try the Buerger-Allen exercise, stress management, smoking cessation (if you smoke). :-)

I agree somewhat with the first answer, but I would also see a doctor about the stinging and burning. This isn't a chat so I can't ask you things like age, weight, do you run a fever too. Do you have swelling, discoloration in your skin, etc.Why don't you see your doctor and have some lab tests run. Excess fluid can cause burning in the tissues in your feet.

my foot pain is unbarable by the end of the day, its mostly in my archs and heels... i have fallen arches, and walk with too much pressure on my heels to make up for it... try getting WALKFIT ORTHOTICS, or seeing a foot doctor to see if you need special molded supports! It could also be the way you're walking, or being too heavy for your frame?

It sounds like you have restless leg syndrome. See your doctor. They can help.
