No, it's not a sin to eat dog meat.

1 Timothy 4:4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

In countries like Korea where dog meat is served, Christians can eat it with a clear conscience.

Why would you want to eat a dog anyways? NO it is not a sin. Question - is the dog domesticated? If it is then, I have an issue with you eating a house pet. If the dog is lets say a wolf - then I am more open to that.

Now, I would not eat a dog, but the animal itself was placed here so that man could have dominion over it.

It may not be a "sin" (depends on how you define sin), but it is forbidden in Leviticus 11. The foods on that list are full of parasites and are just dirty for the most part. Some say we shouldn't follow these laws anymore, but if these animals were dirty and unhealthy then, they still are. So, sin or not.......I'm not gonna be eating dogs.

they eat dog meat over in Korea all the time. I would think it is not a sin. Cave people probably ate it all the time. Meat is meat.

Don't knock it until you try it. Look at what you eat everyday. Chicken (they eat the sick chickens that in the coop with them). Pork (a pig lays in mud and eats garbage, it will even eat a human if the situations presents itself). Humans have eaten just about any kind of animal that is on this earth. It is how you are brought up and what you are taught to believe in. To each his own.

according to the food laws given in Leviticus it isn't supposed to be eaten, it doesn't have a cloven hoof or chew the cud. However when Paul saw the sheet lowered from Heaven in Acts, the Lord told him that as long as it is blessed, don't call it cursed. So just bless it before you eat it.

According to Christians, you can eat any animal you want, because animals don't have souls. It is a traditionally common dish in South Korea, said to improve virility, like a natural viagra. It's called kegoge.

I don't think it's a sin at all. Hell, try to eat it alive, it's much more of a challenge. Nothing like biting a food that can bite you back.
