First you twist the tail from the head...suck the juices from the head...(this is a collection of spices and juices from the cooking...delicious) then you peel the tail as you would a shrimp and eat....enjoy

Separate the tail from the head, peel the tail, dip the tail in hot sauce, then eat it. Usually before they are boiled they are rinsed 4 and 5 times.

You pull the head off, suck the juice out, then put the tail in your mouth (meat side) and you pinch the tall to get the meat to let go and come out. Follow with lots of beer!

do they ever taste better than dirty swamp water...that's funny and a great question too. good luck...I didnt do so well my first time. everyone else around me could eat them with one hand...and I struggled with two. I tried aligator that same day too. that was yummy to my surprise.
