As a homosexual I am not accepted because my behavior is considered sinful. Yet when I ask if any one is sinless. I am told that all are sinners.

Why is my sin worse than yours?

It isn't, people are closed minded and stupid, they can't accept anything that feel is hostile or a threat to people. Unfortuantely, some people see homosexuals as a threat, sorry bro, but the best thing you can do is keep your head high. The most important thing is you like who you are, if thats the case, then nothing else matters.

Hard to say.

God takes circumstances into account when he judges the severity of a sin.

OBJECTIVELY: Acting on homosexual impulses is a serious sin.

SUBJECTIVELY: Individual circumstances like age, family issues, mental state, lack of full consent, habit, etc. can reduce the severity of the sin, and the related spiritual consequences.

The main thing is to avoid doing things like living with a partner, because even if you're truly sorry, that makes repentance difficult or unlikely, and virtually eliminates the likelihood of stopping, both of which are important for forgiveness of sins.

There is some scriptural support designating homosexuality as a sin that particularly offends god.

Also, many (most) straight people just naturally find even the idea of gay sex, repugnant.

That's likely why the social stigma exists.

No your sin is no worse than any other. James 2:10 if anyone shall keep the whole law and yet stumble in one point he is guilty of all.(NKJ I think)
As Christians we are supposed to love all people and not be judgmental but we often are which is as sin no worse that being homosexual. If anyone/ church practiced the true love of Christ you would be accepted just as all of us other sinners are.
But this also means that the sins of all of us cannot be accepted as not being sins. We are all called to turn from our sins and sin no more, it is hard and no one will ever succeeded the only one who ever did was killed on a cross for all of us who won't. hallelujah he arose.

Some so called christians on here are really misrepresenting!! Well we all sin.. but I think the main thing is that we have to recognize that what sin we have a hard time with. Everyone has something that they battle! The difference is that most homosexuals do not consider their lifestyle to be a sin... and it is. The bible really makes it clear and not just in one or 2 scriptures..we are not perfect people we all sin everyday we have to really seek repentance..everyday and unless you realize that although as great as you feel in your homosexuallity that it is a sin against God and you need to repent and try to stay away from it.. just as a lying..fornication..murder..ect everyone battles something. Hope this helped some?? God Bless

That is a fantastic question and the truth is, in the eyes of God your sin as a homosexual is no greater than mine as a liar, or thief, etc. Humans have applied a greater severity and weight to some sins than others which makes sense in a way. We don't send people to jail for stealing a candy bar but we must for those that kill. Any Christian who denies you love, acceptance or a place in church is doing his or her faith and God a grave misjustice. You can hate the sin but love the man and we should all try to do that. I don't support your lifestyle anymore than I would support a friend who was commiting adultery or abusing a child, it's all sin and it is all forgiveable by God.

Everyone is a sinner, no sin is greater than another in Gods eyes. Im divorced, and living with my fiance. Thats makes me an adulteress and a whore-monger, in Bible terms, but not one Christian I know will say I cant go to church, and what I am doing is equal to all other sins, even homosexuality. My sin is equal to yours. Dont let the "hate mongers" tell you diffrent, God sees the sins the same, a lie is just as murder.

You have hit the nail on the head. The truth is we are not supposed to be with sin or else Jesus lied when he said... be ye perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect. If you have gotten a peace from God that you are in his will being homosexual then you are without sin. That is what being perfect is, making sure you are in
the perfect will of God.Most people don't even bother finding out what the perfect will of God is for their life so they believe that everybody sins.
So have you asked God about this or just interested in what everybody else says. And by the way there is no difference because all sin has ever been is disobedience to God.

Your sin is no worse than any other. A sin is a sin and Jesus does not think that one is worse than another. I have no problem with homosexuality and I do not hold it agianst anyone but it is concidered a sin in the eyes of the Lord.

It's not about you being worse than any one else. yeah, we've all sinned and come short but the difference is that we are sinners saved by grace. Once we accepted Jesus Christ as our LORD and SAVIOUR we were forgiven.

And yes we do continue to sin but we can go to our Father and ask for forgiveness and He forgives us and then we must not repeat it. If we do we are not trully sorry.

Have you ever done something to someone and asked for forgiveness? Would you continue to keep doing it and asking for forgiveness over and over?

Hope this helps! Good Luck

In the eyes of God Sin is Sin. There is no little sin or big sin.Your sin
is no worse than mine was.The thing that God wants you to know is
that He has made away to free you and place you in a life style that
will be pleasing to God. We in our own power can not live above sin.
That is why God sent his Only Begotten Son to pay our Sin Debt and
give us Everlasting Life and Gods Spirit to indwell us so we can live
pleasing to God. The Bible says that where the Spirit of the Lord is
the heart is set free. You know that the only Seiners that made Jesus mad was the ones that thought they were pleasing to God by their own works.Pride will send more people to hell than any other sin I can think of. Before God saved me I never really thought I was bad enough to Merritt hell. When God broke my spirit and I saw how sinful I really was
God reached his loving hand and I repented and received Jesus as Lord of my life by Faith I just believed God sent his Son to take my punishment and I was Born of God.Now I can truly say the best is yet to come. You to can have this peace with God to by just telling God that you are a sinner and believe that Jesus died and was bodily raised from the grave to save you.Tell God You want to receive Jesus as Lord.
If you do this and mean it with all your heart You Will Be Born of God.
In Christ in Love,

The general feeling is that most homosexuals don't believe homosexual activity IS a sin. Do You? If so, you are no different from me and my smoking as far as I am concerned. And yes, I am a Christian.
