dont worry to much she is only 3 if you took 12 children all age 3 & asked them to say the same words they would all pronounce them different at the moment she says it as she hears it. my nephew is 3 & there is no way he will say grandad he allways says grangrad. but its best to let them learn at their own pace.

My daughter has difficulty with hard c's and g's as well...she is staring speech therapy in the fall. So far no one has been able to give me an explanation as to why--my first born spoke like a professor at 2...but didn't walk until she was 18 months. My youngest has speech problems, but was walking at 9 months--each child has their strengths and weaknesses.

Good Luck.

She might need speech therapy to help her pronounce those words correctly. The sooner your child has the therapy the better off she will be. If you wait until she is old enough to go to school, she might be teased or humiliated by other kids. I don't think it's anything serious, she might need a little help though.

What the heck worry about it some more and jump on the great american bandwagon of shoving therapy and drugs into your kids mind, seriously though just let her live and develop at her own rate and don't be too quick to think something is wrong with your child.

its all right. Its completely normal for that age. Just talk to your daughter more and get her to practice saying them (without letting her know that she is). Just be like do you want to go to go get a kitty launch box (or go get a real one~unless you dont want to of coarse). Once you start the topic ask her questions about it.

Just do whatever you can to keep her to say the word. Also read to her. Kids who are read to a lot are often good students in school (they get a head start on their vocabulary)

She's 3? Don't worry. My 4 year old nephew has improved a lot within the past year but he still has trouble with "ch" words and "tr" words but he's trying!!
