well, honestly b/c i'm such a funny person, i'd probably go "ohmigosh...the (whatever food) just fell down my bra!!!" and i'd take it right out right in there. LOL. although if it's a fine restaurant i'd excuse myself after whispering the above.

The old feeding the breast routine, well I have on several occasions attempted to be a knight in shining armor and help a damsel in distress, only to get a glaring stare like you would not dare and if you do there will be serious consequences.

What you do depends on who saw it. If no one saw it just excuse yourself from the table go to the ladies room and take care of it.

if someone by chance did see it, don't be embarrassed as I am sure that you are not the only woman in the world this has happened to,just make a joke out of it like I felt as if they were hungry, but I can see they are not please excuse me. No one want to made a fool out of anyone and no one wants to be made a fool. Most intelligent people understand that there will be accidents and will simply act as if they did not see it.

Just brush it off and move on with the good food, good ambiance, and hopefully a good date.

I personally don't have that problem but I can tell you what I think you should do if you were across the table from me.

Reach down and pick it up. That is far less distracting than for me to sit there the entire evening looking at the food on your boobs.

It happens to all of us and is nothing to be ashamed of.

An alternative is to dismiss yourself and go to the restroom. Reaching down into your bra for food may be less distracting there.

Most guys would love being with a girl who is a bit less than perfect. So, while it may be embarrassing for you, believe me it will not bother him in the least.

Is this your first date, or are you very close? You can have him go for it to spice up the relationship... otherwise, depending on what it is, let it be. If it's a piece of small bread, then get it later in the bathroom. If it's a slice of pizza that fell in, then of course get if before it burns your knockers. Plus, how much cleavage you have will determine if you should dig in or not. If your chest is like an unpainted drywall, then forget about it because the food would have fallen to the floor already...

Depends, if he has a sense of humor I would tell him what happen and get it out then laugh about it later, but if he is one of those non sense of humor guys i would excuse myself and take it out in the bathroom.
