Store bought CD's uses .CDA format. You need to burn it to that format. Use Windows Media Player's "Burn" tab.

The easiest thing to try is find a CD that will work in you player, download it to your computer, then look at it's properties to see what format it's in. Most CD players can handle 2-3 different formats, since they are generally closely related.

Dont listen to you first answer. On Itunes, you want to convert all of your music to MP3, not what she said. Then go into the options menu and go to "Burning," set the cd to "MP3 Disc"
