That's a stupid saying. A stranger might also be the homicidal rapist maniac that I haven't met yet.

i'm an optimist so i am going to assert certain. there is continually that probability that the subsequent stranger you meet ought to develop into your merely excellent buddy. yet you'll not in any respect comprehend in case you do not take a danger and communicate with them. i'm particular you receives a variety of of solutions from pessimists speaking about each and every of the "undesirable" human beings in the international yet take a danger ... you're pleasantly shocked!

Meeting a person involves more than just coming into contact with them. Meeting takes place in the mind, It has to do with finding a way to relate. There is no meeting if this is not done, just an encounter. There will be plenty of people that you will never meet simply because you can't find any grounds to or for a relationship. Even if you have interaction with them, they remain a stranger. What they are is simply strange to your understanding. So YES, there are friends that will remain strangers.

No, I don't believe that because while it sounds like a great way to view other people, it falls into the realm of being a truism and not a fact. While it's good to consider that a stranger is someone who could end up being a friend, you have to be wary of people who are just out to do the work of the devil.

Jesus said:

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

...and He identified people like this as sons of the devil...

John 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

...so if you go around believing that every person you have just met will end up being your friend, you might end up robbed, raped, or dead.

I think that some of them are, but you can't be friends with everyone. And there are some strangers that I just don't want to meet!

No.
Not all strangers are people you would want to be friends with, nor do they all wish to be friends with you.
