start at the center with the largest/and/or most important pic. be diverse from there, and creative! have someone hold up the frames,and you stand back and see where they "fit". staggered is good, it gives a feeling of "home" and draws more attention to the eye rather than a uniform configuration. have fun with it! good luck!
