rocking out to a gospel song?i think that's rediculous.when listening to a gospel song you should think of the lord in the lyrics of the song and worship him
if you are true to him.if you are "rocking out"to a gospel song, something isn't right.really gospel songs should be a way to reach God,but now a days it's mostly about the music of it not the lyrics and worship.if you really think about gospel songs are'nt not like they use to be,now they're mixing gospel with today's modern music.maybe you should know that the devil before he was sent to hell was one of God's major angels wich God asigned for him to be a musician. But since the devil wanted more than that he decided that he wanted to take over heaven, but God wasn't having that so God kicked him out of heaven.now since the devil is a spirit and can rome around earth he uses music to get to us,to possess us.this world is mainly music if you think about it,tv,radio and every where else.it's succesful for him to use his skills to brain wash us even if we're not trying to listen to any music,he is still succesful especially if we don't have the spirit of god with us.we are more eligible to it.don't you wonder why you start singing a song all of a sudden and especially if you don't even like the song or did'nt even practice to remember it by really listening to it.it's that spirit of the enemy in you,the spirit of music.it's really hard to fight it off especially if you grew up listening to this world's music.please forgive me if i've affended you by all this.it's just so hard to get to people with the truth now a days because their mind is so lost by the enemy and they come at you in defense.i don't know how much you know about the truth of God,but i ask God to lead you to learn it in the right church because the churches are even messed up.the biggest devils are in the churches, and yes i know that sounds crazy, but thats where the devil really trys to get you.so that's why i ask God to bless you,to really bless you.if you are really wanting to know what the truth is just pray and ask him and in no doubt he'll give any answers you need.

I like the song - there's a lot of classical rock and roll that I enjoy - there's also alot of it I have come not to enjoy near as much as I used to because of the message it relays - the older I get and the closer I get to the Lord, the more I realize it's just another area people look at me to see how I respond and if it reflects my Christian values - so I do try to be very careful and have found that for the most part, I'm not missing rock and roll in my life like I thought I would - when I do pass by it, I may pause if alone, but I don't want to cause someone to stumble.

I might be behind a few years in relation to what's being listened to on Christian radio these days (assuming that's where you heard it) I'm a retired rock disc jockey and I remember a tune by that name done by a group called Stryper back in the 80's. I rocked to it then, and there's no reason I wouldn't now.

Musically, the song is good. But i always felt it was a Christian put-down song....making fun of the faith. I agree, that could just be my perception.
