So I met a guy at camp and his name is Jeff

hes funny, and sweet-but we are almost polar opposites
and we like each other......a LOT

if you were to find the closest labels for us: He would be bad boy and I would be really shy

he held my hand last night and sundown was so unbelievably PERFECT

what do think? Will it work?

Opposites do attract, but if you're correct about polar opposites, then it might be the polar part that attracts you at the moment. There has to be common ground to make the relationship work long term. Polar opposites only attract because of the initial excitement of finding someone not like you... but that effect wears off and then you start repelling each other.

I found the love of my life and he and I agree on nothing besides for Family Guy haha. We do tend to argue a lot, but we always kiss and make up soon after. If you work at it hard enough, you can do it. I think it will work. You just both have to want it enough and try.

Your problem is that you are young (inexperienced in love relationships) and you are insecure.

No relationship is likely to be good for long until you get past your insecurity problems.
And, you don't get over your insecurity until you know why you are insecure and overcome it.

About the last thing that an insecure female needs in her life is a bad-boy type.

good luck.

Keep your pants on. Just keep holding hands. If he loves you and respects you, and you keep your behavior at bay, it could work out. Just the fact that you met him at camp though makes me think that you're young...even if you're a counselor, most of them are teens/young 20s.

I think that you should stop considering your "labels". What other people think of you should have nothing to do with the compatibility of your relationship. As long as you are happy together, stay together.

Opposites attract.

And obviously he has a romantic side, so he can't be all that bad.
