Both.......just depends on what you're watching of course. And also whether you let your TV time interfere with other more productive things you should be doing. In moderation, and with good programming choices, it can be very helpful.

It can be both.

I was watching a health show once about diabetes. One of my co-workers was telling me that she had blurred vision and her legs were swelling. I asked her if she had her blood sugar checked lately. She got it checked and she turned out to have diabetes.

But...most of the time t.v. has a lot of junk on it. My children are only allowed to watch a few shows.

We rent a lot of movies...that is a good alternative.

It is helpful for many things, but the harm seems to out weigh the good at least two-to-one.

For some good tv go to the below link:

Both, but mostly bad. I heard some studies about how it messes up your brain and hurts your social ability. Plus a lot of shows nowadays teach bad morals and have some pretty outrageous things.

TBN vs. MTV...depends on what you watch. TBN (minus Pat Robbertson (spelling?) from the 700 club) is a decent channel. MTV on the other hand, is not that helpful.

It depends. If something is a great influence and causes you to destroy ur self or either something that may help you in the long run you should watch it.
