God through Christ calls us to provide welcome and serve to the stranger. A stranger is "anyone who does not belong in the environment in which they are found ". If you are a fundamentalist Christian are you willing to welcome and serve the homosexual?

Why or why not are you required to do so?

I am willing to accept them. I would tell them, and make sure they understand, that i don't agree with their way of life, but i accept them as a human beeing and a citizen.

I agree with some of the other posters, love the sinner, hate the sin, and that is where I draw the line. Once you have been of witness to the said homosexual, and they refuse to acknowledge that it is a sin and refuse to change, I do not welcome them into my home or church with open arms. The same goes for every other sin and sinner. Homosexuals are not being numbered out here. You cannot call yourself a Christian unless you acknowlege that you are a sinner. This applies to EVERYONE and EVERY sin, again, not just the homosexuals.

Homosexuals and other sinners need to stop trying to change the Christian church, it has been around a long time. If you want to be accepted for who you are, or as what Christians call a sinner, there are many other religions you can go to.

The bible says that Jesus did only what He saw the Father in heaven doing. Therefore I would need to hear from the Father to know how or if I was to serve ANY human. If the Lord wants me to do something for someone, it should not matter who they are, just that I obey.

There are certain people that God's Word says not to fellowship with or to even let in your house. Serving someone doesn't mean turning a blind eye to sin. Jesus served and befriended all kinds of people, yet as one who submitted His actions to His Father. Jesus listened before He lept-He didn't make decisions on His own.

All service I give is as unto the Lord, and in obedience to the Lord.

hate the sin love the sinner. I cannot accept the sin, but i can accept the person. People are people, they need things.

acceptance doesnt qualify as turning a blind eye, nor does it constitute tolerance. Everyone is imperfect, working towards perfection.

Wrong would be patting a sinner on the head and saying the sin is okay. Love would be patting the sinner on the head and allowing the grace needed while that person grows and makes their own decisions.

Love the sinner, not the sin... They are a sinner like you and me. Christ loves them enough to die for them too...Welcome them in and show them Christ's love.

Hebrews13:2 "Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it. "

I will serve love, kindness, peace, tolerance, and acceptance - regardless of your god, regardless of a man named Jesus who was a decent guy, but just about a Gandhi of his time, nothing more.

There are a gazillion facets to a human being. You really ought to stop focusing on sexuality. Sexuality is something deeply personal, deeply intimate. And really, of all the attributes that make all of us who we are, is just one thing of gazillions of attributes that we are composed of.
