My daughter's recent wedding. I was rather sad, because she didn't know the fiance very well. It was an outdoor wedding with lots of beautiful trees and flowers growing everywhere in the state of Idaho. My daughter has a 2 year old, (now 3) girl, and she was the ring bearer. The fiance had 2 young neices, 4 and 8 years old, they tossed the flower pedals ahead of me and my daughter as I walked her down the 'isle' I told the minister that I was the person giving my daughter away, and sat down. Well the whole time tears were just gushing from me, till I heard giggles behind me. I wiped my eyes, and turned around to see what was going on, and my little 2 year old grand daughter had tossed the rings and was collecting all the flower pedals the other two girls had tossed. She just couldn't understand why they would throw such pretty flowers away. It was so cute, the fiance and my daughter had to disrupt the minister to see, and they both just died laughing. I knew at that point that this man would be good for my daughter, and her daughter. I of course laughed right along with them, and went over and picked up the granddaughter, retrieved the rings, and directed her to hand them to the fiance. It was all recorded, and I will cherish that dvd for ever. Ron Couch

When I was 15 I was diagnosed with PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) so severe that ultrasounds would soon show 35-40 cysts on EACH ovary. I have had painful periods, most of which would keep me from school for days and caused migraines. The doctors have also toyed with the idea that I also have Endometriosis as well. I was told at the age of 17 that unless I would be able to afford fertility drugs, getting pregnant would be near impossible.
I found out I was pregnant August 9th of 2005...a Tuesday. I was not married. I lived with the baby's father but all he wanted was me and no baby. So I moved out when I was 5 1/2 mos pregnant. I was sick until I was 6 mos and working as a hairstylist, always on my feet barely taking breaks and trying to dodge calls from my babys father telling me how crazy I am for keeping this baby because I was 21 yrs old, single, and always working to barely pay the bills.
He harrassed me to the point I had to move back to my parents' house almost 5 hrs away. The day I was moving my clothes and small precious possessions I had an accident that totalled my full sized truck and I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, they told me the baby was fine.
At 27 wks I went into premature labor and had a baby boy-2 lbs 7 oz. I couldn't hold him or see him until he was hooked up in the transport isolette by the Teddy Bear Transport Team from Cook Children's Hospital. I saw his eyes, he was so small wrapped up in the blanket and hat hooked up to a ventilator.
While the team was getting loaded up to the helicopter, I could hear them all laughing and joking, talking about how much of a wiggleworm my baby was and that he was such a fighter. Then more laughter, a pause...more laughter and I thought...what are these people thinking? They just took my baby that I couldn't touch or see and they're laughing? Right then one of the women from the team came into the room and said "Honey, we didn't mean to disturb you. It's just that none of the monitors can stay on him because he will just NOT STAY STILL!! You have no idea what a fighter he is! I can't believe a 27 weeker acting like this!! You better buy him a car tomorrow!!" I understood...it's the best news I had heard my whole life. He is now 6 mos old and 14 lbs 4 oz.
He is my little fighter.

Laughter can always change your mood, I learned that from my Dad! At his funeral he asked in his Will that everybody stand up and tell a funny story about him, it was wonderful! I have been taught well!
I have always found a way to laugh at life, the alternative is crying. Laughter makes your facial muscles go up, crying makes them go down! Laughter burns calories, crying makes you want to eat! I am 45 years old and have had 3 children, all teenagers now, all 10 lbs.+ at birth. I can honestly say I look 35 and have an awesome figure for my age and history ( 5'11" 150 lbs. and I eat like a horse, my Dr. told me that).
I can not think of a story to tell you there are so many!
I did read somewhere that humans appear to be the only species that laugh with their whole body, if it is real laughter.

i have 4 children and throughout the years i wrote true stories entitled things my child said or did that i never want them to forget...it had all sorts of things photos etc...it came in handy as i also developed cancer and it was a journel....we moved as we are in the military, needless to say that somoene broke into our car ; the book was in the car and i no longer have but the memories stayed being that said....my daughter (one of them) was always supportive at a young age, her dad was trying to fix something and just could not get it becoming frustrated...she told him to keep trying and he did, once he got it repaired she had this big grin to her and said great job dad...see you used your imagination!!
