they get mad because they think it is a good way to manipulate you into giving them your number so they can call your house and harrass you. just wait till you see how mad they get when you don't want to have phone sex...

No. Time spent talking is simply no enough reason to give a guy your number. Now if you like him and trust him and you feel he is a nice, good person......and, of course, you want him to call....you can freely give him your number.
Beware! Chances are good he is not quite what he says he is....

I would never give my number to anyone I meet online, no matter how trustworthy they may seem. There's a lot of sickos out there.

one guy i met once wanted me to use my bank account to cash a 1500 dollar check and he was going to give me half of it. just to cash it. sounds sweet right?? well no its not. if HE did not have that amount of money in HIS checking account i would have been responsable for that money, all 1500 dollars of it. i would have been screwed.
well, he got all pissy and mad that i wouldnt give him my number and address and bank account and that was the end of that scam artist for me.
